Steven Watt, President of the highly respected luxury home builder, Gulfshore Homes, is excited to announce it recently added another branch to its deeply rooted corporate tree – an Interior Design division.

“We have always been the liaison between our homeowners and the interior design team we partnered with. Over the years we have taken a more active role in consulting with our clients on their interior design choices,” stated Matthew Shull, executive vice president of Gulfshore Homes. “Adding an Interior Design division to the company was a natural evolution of our business model and makes it substantially more convenient for the client.”

Watt also announced that Brooke Meyer has been selected as the division’s Principal Interior Designer.

The Boca Raton, Florida, native has a Master of Science Degree from Florida State University in Interior Design. For nearly four years she was a design assistant with an award-winning residential firm in Southwest Florida, where she worked on a number of international projects.

Meyer was also associated with a well-respected Commercial Design firm in Naples for a year-and-a-half, soon getting called back to the residential world, leading a design team for more than five years, where she excelled in high-level luxury residential design.

Meyer, who has worked with Gulfshore Homes on projects during the past 10 years, admits she’s excited to bring her creative energies and passion for superior customer service to Gulfshore Homes’ Interior Design division on a permanent basis.

“It’s ideal as an interior designer to be partnering with one of Southwest Florida’s top luxury builders, one known for its construction knowledge and high-quality finishing and detailing,” noted Meyer. “It’s also refreshing to be working for a builder who is known for pushing the limits and creating designs that have never been seen before.”

Meyer and Matt Shull are on the same page as to why now is the perfect time to add an in-house interior design team to the luxury homebuilder.

“As everyone is aware, the real estate market has been booming. Having a substantial number of signed new build and remodel projects in the pipeline to cover the next few years is a solid base from which to launch,” commented Meyer. “The client has an immediate advantage working with an in-house design team. The two parties can meet regularly, make changes more efficiently, and exchange ideas more clearly. It’s all about a great, close working relationship.”

Meyer won’t be occupying the interior design office all by herself. Her design partner of more than five years, Lindsay Molinario, has also joined the team as an Interior Designer.

Molinario is a graduate of Highpoint University where she earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Interior Design.

The showroom or display area for the new interior design division will be located with Gulfshore Homes’ corporate headquarters located at 8891 Brighton Lane, Suite 101, in Bonita Springs.

The showroom will feature roof materials, driveway pavers, door finishes and everything needed for the exterior of the home, as well as interior features such as flooring options, window shades and cabinetry. The studio will also be furnished with hundreds of brands of furniture, art, accessories catalogs, cutting edge fabrics, trims, bedding selections, cabinetry hardware – and more.
