Soon soon after the 2020 presidential election Lawyer Typical Mark Brnovich appeared on Fox Enterprise, wherever he was asked about unsubstantiated claims of election fraud in Arizona.
He said at the time, “if indeed there was some terrific conspiracy” to steal votes from fellow Republicans, “it evidently didn’t perform.”
True.
He added, “In Arizona, there was a prediction that the (Republican-managed) Legislature would flip. It didn’t. There have been some congressional districts that supposedly leaned Democrat. They did not flip. The county recorder below who oversees elections went from Democrat to Republican. The county attorney remained Republican.”
Also real.
Brnovich ongoing, “That’s the fact. There is no proof, there are no facts that would guide everyone to imagine that the election effects will modify.”
Legitimate as perfectly.
He was just AG then, not a U.S. Senate candidate
But, that was Brnovich when he still was acting like an actual lawyer standard and in advance of he made the decision to use his elected workplace just about solely to boost his marketing campaign for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate.
That led to Brnovich acquiring his investigators conduct their own investigation of what is likely the most investigated election … anywhere … ever.
And in a report handed around to Arizona Senate President Karen Fann – who orchestrated the ongoing Cyber Ninjas audit disaster – Brnovich reviews that his investigation unveiled “serious vulnerabilities.”
Truly, what it seems to have revealed is major political BS on the section of Brnovich.
Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer (a Republican who received business office in that 2020 election) responded with a brief Twitter respond to to Brnovich’s claims.
Richer and the county’s Republican-managed board of supervisors have responded, and responded, and responded to statements of fraud
By no means obtaining a severe issue after multiple independent assessments.
County recorder speaks real truth about Brnovich’s probe
But, as Richer factors out in his tweet thread relating to Brnovich’s probe:
“I try to remember expending a lot of, many several hours doing work with investigators on our entire tech stack. Wanting at questions like internet connectivity and information deletion. I guess the responses to those really don’t match the narrative … .”
Specifically. Brnovich wanted to make sure you Republicans who refuse to accept the truth about the election. He had to toss them some form of bone.
Richer goes on to make clear or debunk what Brnovich’s minions arrived up with and finishes his Twitter thread response with the most crucial issue.
Richer says of Brnovich’s report, “But most importantly, it, rightfully, does not say something about a stolen election or unlawful functions by election employees … .”
And, he provides, “All of this appears ideal as it’s coming from the gentleman who (rightfully) laughed off notions of a stolen election on Fox Information that folks only break up their ticket (which is how we however have a Republican legislature).”
Of course.
That is exactly what Brnovich did in 2020.
Back when he was acting like an true lawyer normal instead than treating his elected business office like a campaign headquarters.
