Squatters accused of moving into two rental homes, changing locks

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis police say a pair of squatters moved their possessions into two rental properties in a Parkway Village community and altered the doorknobs and locks to 1 of the properties.

Kandi Walker and Octavious Dean were being arrested Wednesday following property professionals discovered they were being living in the residences.

Law enforcement reported they were being referred to as to the 4300 block of Almo Avenue following a rental manager discovered a number of merchandise outside the house the house, and a neighbor instructed him a male and female ended up inside of the house squatting.

David Sehar claimed he noticed Dean run on the porch and seize a backpack, and he was capable to acquire a photo of Dean ahead of he ran absent.
