On the bright side with Lick Paint

Riding the wave of the maximalism trend, paint brand Lick has collaborated with the British-Nigerian artist Yinka Ilori on a new collection of bold paints and wallpapers intended to bring colour and optimism into the home. Developed during lockdown, when Yinka was, like the rest of us, craving a connection with the outdoors, the collection includes five bright, eco-friendly paints and two statement wallpapers (see above), inspired by plants, flowers and the colourful west African fabrics that inform his art and homeware designs. ‘In all of my works I celebrate joy and optimism through colour,’ Yinka explains. ‘You can’t not feel joy when you look at this palette.’
